Welcome to My Personal Page
On Saturday, May 4, I am joining other strong and caring individuals because we support those whose lives have been changed by HIV. It is my opportunity to make a difference in our community and to help make sure everyone knows they are loved and valued.
Thanks to education, awareness, and research, we don't fear AIDs and HIV as much as we once did. When I watched Bohemian Rhapsody recently, I was personally reminded about how scary this disease was when first identified. We lost so many brilliant people. It's no longer a death sentence, but the treatment is still very costly, and the impact on families and individuals is still difficult. I walk to support inclusion and hope for anyone affected.
It is my opportunity to stand up and be counted! AIDS WALK Charlotte is a very important to me so I have set a fundraising goal and I hope you will join me in the fight by making a donation. It's an easy 1.8 mile walk, so I'm looking forward to enjoying the sunshine while raising awareness for our community.
Thank you for your compassion and for showing that you are willing to join me in creating an HIV free generation.
